18^th FOUNDATION DAY CELEBRATED AT DAV INTERNATIONAL

DAV International School celebrated its 18^th Foundation day on 11^th April, 2015 with great zeal and enthusiasm. For the sacred celebration, some towering personalities associated with the school were present. These include: Chairman of the school Dr. V.P. Lakhanpal, Honorary Treasurer of DAV CMC – Sh. J.K. Luthra, Manager of the school – Dr. Rajesh Kumar, famous Arya Samaj Activists Pandit Satya Pal Pathik & Sh. Dinesh Pathik, Sh. Murari, LMC Members – Architect S. Mohinderjit Singh, Dr. K.S.Manchanda, S. Satnam Singh & Dr. Nikita Kahlon, Arya Samaj Members – Sh. Hira Lal Kandhari, Sh. Satish Sood, Sh. Padam Mehra, Sh. Atul Mehra, Sh. Praveen Kumar & Sh. Dinesh Kumar Arya.  Dr. Vir Beri and Ms. Shalini Beri the proud parents of the school were present as the special guests of the day.

The school, which completed its 17 glorious years on 3^rd April, 2015, started its amazing journey in 1998 with 187 students and has currently risen to a strength of 5400 students.

The celebration commenced with the performance of the Holy Yajna in which all the present esteemed dignataries, students & staff of the school rendered their holy contributions. Everyone thanked God for taking the school to such great heights and also prayed for even brighter & prosperous future of the institution. Devotional songs were sung aloud in the glory of God by the famous Bhajan writer, singer & Arya Samaj Activists Pandit Satya Pal Pathik and his son Sh. Dinesh Pathik. These melodious bhajans charged the atmosphere around with divine adoration.

On this noble occasion, all the great figures present, who have always contributed in all the endeavours of the school with their noble minds & sincere efforts, were presented small tokens of love to express them a sense of gratitude.

Rishi Langer was served to all the distinguished guests, students and staff of the school.
