DAVIS commemorates Mahatma Hans Raj’s birth anniversary

Mahatma Hans Raj’s birth anniversary was celebrated at DAV International School, Amritsar on 18^th April, 2015. The day commenced with a holy hawan. Principal Anjana Gupta and the teaching staff actively participated in it. In her address, the Principal informed the students that Mahatma Hans Raj was a real scholar, great writer and a true Vedic preacher. His contribution in the field of education is incredible. He dreamt of an educated generation, enriched with values, patriotism and discipline. He founded Dayanand  Brahm University with an aim of providing quality education to the budding gems of Indian society. To enlighten the Indian masses about the significance and need of spiritual education and Yoga, he founded Vedic Mohan Ashram at Haridwar. The embodiment of sacrifice, kindness and mercy, this great soul helped and served the poor and needy all through his life. His life is a source of inspiration to us and we should follow his principles.
