Event Start Date : 10/08/2014 Event End Date 31/03/2015
Rakhi, an ancient festival, is observed by all religions in India. This compassionate festival was celebrated at DAVIS with great zeal and ebullience. The day commenced with enactment of a small play by young DAVIANS, eulogizing this great bond between brother and sister.
The tiny toddlers expressed their views in commendation of this festival in the form of self-composed poems. Miscellaneous Rakhi-Making competitions were organized in order to mark this indispensible day.
Principal Anjana Gupta, while addressing the DAVIANS, intensified the importance of this day and added this festival is a knot of protection which avows the safety of sisters by brothers. Further she laid stress on emancipation of women and equal treatment with both the genders.
