DAV INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL SECURES THIRD POSITION IN AMRITSAR IN XII CBSE EXAM

The budding scholars of DAV International School, Amritsar proved their mettle by scoring remarkable result in the CBSE XII examination 2014-2015. With this, DAVIS stands tall on third position in city with 100% result.

A total of 179 students appeared in this Board Exam out of which Bhawna Chopra of Commerce stream stood first in the school by securing 96.8%, Samiksha Dogra with 96.2% bagged the second position and Haresh Khanna of Non- Medical stream and Harshil Madaan of Arts Stream stood third with 95.8% marks. Bhawna Chopra topped in Commersce Stream, Kawanpreet and Payal of Medical Stream topped with 92.8%, Haresh Khanna topped in Non- Medical with 95.8% and Harshil topped in Arts with 95.8% marks. The other students to score brilliantly are:  

Bhawna Chopra, Lavneesh and Samiksha Dogra got 100 out of 100 marks in Painting.

The subject wise highest marks are Painting- 100; Chemistry-98; Mathematics 98; Geo-Spatial 98; Biology- 97; English 97; B.O.A 97; Economics 97; Accountancy-97; Physics 95; Physical Education 95; Business Studies 95; Political science 90.

Out of 179, 7 students scored above 95%, 37 students got above 90%, 96 students secured above 80%, 154 got above 70% and 179 got above 60%.

On this joyous occasion, the Chairman of the school Dr. V.P. Lakhanpal, Manager - Dr. Rajesh Kumar and Regional Director Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra extended their heartfelt felicitations to the Principal, staff, students & their parents for this stupendous achievement and blessed for a brighter & more prosperous future of the school.
