‘JAN – CHETNA YATRA’

Under the aegis of Arya Pradeshik Pratinidhu Upsabha, Punjab, the students & teachers of  DAV International School organized a rally as a part of the  “Ved Prachar Saptah”. A holy Yajna was held on the school premises before commencing the rally to invoke the blessings of the Almighty. The chanting of Gayatri Mantra and the other Ved Mantras purified the whole ambience.

While addressing the students Principal Anjana Gupta remarked that under the able guidance of President Arya Pradeshik Pratinidhi Upsabha, Punjab Dr. Neelam Kamra, the school is observing “Ved Prachar Saptah” from 22^nd to 29^th August, 2015. She also highlighted that the main motive behind taking out this rally was to make the students spread awareness about the importance of ‘Vedas’ and their principles and also to curb social evils like dowry, corruption, child labour, female foeticide etc.
