Teacher’s day was celebrated with great excitement on the premises of DAV International school on 5^th september, 2017. The day commenced with a special morning assembly organized by the students of class vi-vii. A tribute was given to dr. Saravpalli Radhakrishnan. Poems on the role of teachers were recited by the students along with a display of oratory skills through speeches on the same theme. Students also staged a skit expressing their gratitude to their torch-bearers. A mesmerizing dance performance was also presented by the students. On this occasion, principal anjana gupta addressed the students and said that a teacher is valued above god. A teacher is an epitome of knowledge who not only guides his/her students but also acts as their role model. She appreciated the efforts, dedication and devotion of the teachers which brought laurels to the school. The students took great effort and ensured that teachers enjoy every minute.
