Spreading the message of heritage protection, DAV International School, Amritsar, under the tutelage of Principal Anjana Gupta, hold the Intach Heritage Quiz 2018 Inter School on its premises on 4^th August, 2018. Col. Santokh Singh Bhatti graced the event as the Chief Guest of the day. 150 students hailing from 15 different schools of Amritsar participated in this quiz.

Based on both tangible and intangible cultural heritage of Amritsar district, Punjab and India, the quiz comprised of two levels i.e. written and oral. Five winning teams of written test could make up for the oral quiz. Ms. Nureen and Ms. Amanbir were the quiz masters. After giving a neck to neck fight, Mehaldeep Kaur and Gursimran Kaur of Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, G.T. Road, Amritsar secured the 1^st Position and will now participate in the state level quiz. Nimish Sehgal and Udhaykaran Singh of Holy Heart Presidency School, Amritsar got the second position whereas Simarpreet singh and Harmanpreet Kaur of Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School bagged the third position. The Chief Guest, while addressing the audience congratulated the winners and talked about the significance of such programmes. Mr. Sumit Aggarwal, Mr. Ravinder Vohra and Er. Sawinder Singh.
