On February 11, 2020, the tiny tots of Pre-Nursery and Nursery classes presented a cultural fiesta titled ‘Towards Clean and Green’ to spread the message of Environmental Protection. The renowned Plastic Surgeon of the city Dr. Ravi Mahajan was the Chief Guest of the occasion. Chairman of the school Dr. V.P. Lakhanpal was also present as an eminent guest.

In her address, the Host Principal Dr. Anjana Gupta, remarked that these innocent little angels are God’s creation which makes each one of them very special. She also gave a piece of advice to the parents that they should not try to impose their desires on their children, rather accept them as they are and provide a perfect environment to polish their skills.

Through their presentation, the Pre-Nursery and Nursery graders advocated the cleanliness of one’s own self, house, city, surroundings and the whole country. They also highlighted some basic ethics which can prevent our environment from further degradation.

Chief Guest Dr. Ravi Mahajan was full of praise for the efforts of the little kids, their teachers and the school Principal. He said that DAV International is doing a great job by inculcating such values in the children from now only and thus providing a strong foundation in shaping their personalities. He discouraged the students from following everything from the western culture. Rather, he said, we should adopt their good habits like – cleanliness.

Chairman Dr. V.P. Lakhanpal was also overwhelmed to witness such wonderful performance of the young DAVIANS and advised the parents to give them a disciplined life style to become noble citizens of the society.

On this occasion, S. Satnam Singh, Sh. Rakesh Mehra, Sh. Bimal Kapoor, Sh. Inderpal Arya, Sh. Praveen Kumar and grandparents and parents of the students were also present. The function ended with the chanting of National Anthem.
