DAV International students shine in CBSE Regional Level Science Exhibition
The students of DAV International School, Amritsar made the school proud by emerging with flying colours in the Regional Level CBSE Science Exhibition-2016-17, held at Police DAV Public School, Jalandhar from 16th to 18th December, 16. Mr. R J Khanderao, R.O CBSE, Panchkula Region presided over the function as the Chief Guest.
In this exhibition, participants of different CBSE affiliated schools of Chandigarh Zone presented about 200 models out of which only 20 were selected by the judges for presentation at National Level in Delhi.
Diya Khanna and Jhanvi Dhingra of Grade IX presented their model on ‘Forest on fire alert’ under the subtheme ‘Mathematics in daily life’ and qualified for National Level Science Exhibition.
The Principal of the school said that it’s a matter of pride that the school participated in the regional level CBSE Science Exhibition and got selected for national level. She congratulated the students and applauded the teachers for their direction and guidance.
