Investiture Ceremony

It was a momentous occasion at DAV International on 23^rd August, 2017 as the newly elected and selected members of the school Student’s Council were officially yested with their powers and positions in the Investiture Ceremony. After invoking the divine benedictions by lighting the sacred lamps and chanting a mellifluous Bhajan, Principal Anjana Gupta conferred the council members with badges and sashes. Dikshita Goyal and Manangad Singh were officially designated as the Head Girl and the Head Boy, respectively. Various other positions were allotted to the students to train them as visionaries and torch bearers of tomorrow. This was followed by the Oath Taking Ceremony in which all the Council Members pledged to work constructively for their Alma Mater and keep its flag flying high. In her address Principal Gupta showered the precious pearls of her wisdom on the young aspirants, congratulated them and blessed for their brighter future. The Head Girl and Head Boy, representing the whole council, addressed the present gathering and assured to put in their best possible efforts for the progress of their venerated institute. The ceremony concluded with the chanting of National Anthem.
