‘Vigilance Awareness Week’ is being observed on the premises of DAV International School, Verka Chowk, Amritsar. As mandated by the Central Vigilance Commission and CBSE, several activities are planned to spread awareness amongst the young generation. A talk on ‘Vigilance Awareness’ was held on November 1, 2017 on the theme “Corruption free India”. Inspector Mr. Jaspinder Singh, presided over as the guest speaker. He spoke about preventive vigilance measures to fight against corruption. He described that how the ‘power of unity’ can result in eradicating corruption from the society. He also informed about a toll-free helpline no, to ledge a complaint without any hassle. The talk was followed by a highly informative Question – Answer round.

Principal Anjana Gupta encouraged students to fight against corruption by acting as a strong vigilant citizen and contribute in country’s progress.
