LITTLE ANGELS OF DAVIS SPREAD THE MESSAGE ‘CONSERVE BLUE TO STAY GREEEN’

Annual Day Function based on the theme “Conserve Blue to Stay Green” was held on December 07, 2019 with great zeal and enthusiasm at DAV International School, Amritsar in which the little angels of UKG came forth with the message to conserve water. Dr. Renu Bhardwaj, Professor, Botanical and Environmental Sciences, GNDU was the Chief Guest in this grand event. The Chairman of the Institution, Dr. V.P. Lakhanpal, the Regional Officer Dr. Neelam Kamra and the Manager Dr. Rajesh Kumar were the other esteemed guests of the day.

The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp followed by the green welcome of the Chief Guest and the other dignitaries. Thereafter, Dr. Anjana Gupta, Principal,               DAV International School in her address spotlighted the need to conserve water not only for ourselves but also for the future generations. She warmly welcomed the guests, parents, grandparents and media persons in the gala event. Through the medium of their play “Conserve Blue to Stay Green, the Tiny Tots of UKG emphasized on the dire need to conserve water for a better life on earth.

The Chief Guest of the day Dr. Renu Bhardwaj sang the praises of the talented little angels of UKG who showcased their talent in the most wonderful way. She also threw light on the initiatives taken by Honourable Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi Ji and  Dr. Punam Suri Ji, President, DAV CMC, New Delhi to conserve water. She said that their role in this regard is commendable and urged all the listeners to make an optimum use of water. Chairman Dr. V.P. Lakhanpal also showered his blessings upon the students and lauded them for their remarkable efforts. Dr. Neelam Kamra and Dr. Rajesh Kumar also appreciated the vigorous attempt of the students.

On this occasion Sh. Inderpal Arya Ji, Sh. Parveen Kumar Ji and Dr. Nikhita Kahlon were also present. The function concluded with National Anthem.
