Rally for Rivers

Rally for Rivers is a National Wide Awareness Campaign to revive our rivers. Conceived by Sadhguru, the Campaign has been taken up by every section of society across the nation.

DAV International School, Amritsar also became an active member of this Campaign.

Theme based assembly was conducted on 25.09.17 i.e Monday. Active participation of students and teachers was seen.

Our rivers are dying Ganga, Krishna, Narmada, Kaveri are depleting fast. This message was delivered by the students in the assembly.

Role play depicting the conditions of rivers of India was presented by the students. A rally conveying the message of Rivers – Our life line was taken out from school premises to a nearby village.

Students and teachers of DAVIS created awareness among the new generation of saving rivers. It was a wonderful experience to be a part of the Rally for Rivers movement.
