In the wake of NEET (UG) exam 2019, scheduled on May 5, 2019, the NTA State                    Co-ordinator and NEET City Co-ordinator, Dr. Anjana Gupta conducted an instructional meeting at DAV International School, Amritsar on May 04, 2019. The objective of the meeting was to convey the guidelines for the conduct of the NEET 2019 and announce NTA observers and representatives for all the six centers of Amritsar City namely Ram Ashram, Khalsa College Public School, DAV International School, DAV Public School, Bharti Vidya Bhawan and Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1.

During this Pre-event briefing meeting, Dr. Anjana Gupta told that around 3207 candidates are appearing in the exam. She said that the smooth conduct of the exam is the utmost priority of the NTA and therefore, one must not entertain any notion unsuitable for its performance. She informed that the duration of the exam is from 02:00 P.M. till 05:00 P.M. Arrival time for the candidates is 12:00 noon. No entry will be permitted after 01:30 P.M. Candidates would be allowed to carry only the admit card with their passport size photograph affixed on it. They need to carry one additional passport size photograph to be pasted on the attendance sheet, original valid photo identity card and certificate of disability (if applicable). Pen will be provided by the NTA in the examination room. She also briefed that candidates are refrained from bringing any kind of stationary item and communication device . No wallets and bags, cap, ATM Card are allowed. Any kind of metallic item, any watch, eatables, packed water etc. are not permitted during the exam. Candidates are not allowed to use white fluid on the answer sheet and attendance sheet and they must sit on their allotted seats only. She extended her good wishes to the NTA representatives, Observers and the Centre Superintendents for the error-free conduct of the exam and outstretched her best wishes to the candidates. The meeting was attended by Dr. Neera Sharma, Principal Vinodita Sankhyan, Principal Amarjit Singh Gill and Principal Manju Yadav along with the 8 observers and 5 representatives of the NTA.
