To bid adieu to the outgoing batch of class 12th (2018 – 2019) a farewell was organized by Class-XI on May 10, 2019 at DAV International School, Amritsar. A grand cultural bonanza was put up by the students of class 11th which included an array of dance and band performances dedicated to their seniors. The chief attraction of the evening was the ramp walk for the most coveted titles of the show. In the quest of a perfect amalgam of beauty, style and brain, Bhavnoor Gill and Madhusudan Bhatia were chosen Ms. DAVIS and Mr. DAVIS 2018-19. Apart from these Shruti and Subhkarman were selected as Ms. and Mr. Star Performer 2018-2019, Nandini and Arsh Vohra became Ms. and Mr. Poise respectively, Anmol and Ranvir got selected as Ms. and Mr. Confident, Ms. and Mr. Eloquent was won by Samridhi and Keshav whereas Disha and Vardan became Ms. and Mr. Hilarious . Ms. Aashna was selected as The Fashionista whereas Mr. Satvik became The Showstopper of the day. The students fondly travelled down the memory lane and showed gratitude to their teachers and their alma mater. It was a scintillating and memorable moment for the outgoing students. In her ever inspiring words, school Principal Dr. Anjana Gupta wished the students good luck and success for their lives ahead and gave a beautiful message to everyone- “Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadow”. This mega event concluded with the chanting of National Anthem followed by a sumptuous lunch.
