On August 10, 2019, DAV International School, Amritsar held a seminar for the Principals of DAV schools across Punjab. The program organised under the aegis of  Arya Pradheshik Pratinidhi Upsabha, Punjab was conducted as per the directions of Pradhan, Arya Pradeshik Pratinidhi UpSabha, Punjab – Principal Sh. J.P. Shoor and Mantri Dr. Neelam Kamra. They both graced the occasion with their kind presence. Principal, Dr. Anjana Gupta extended floral welcome to the distinguished guests. Highlighting the ideals of DAV, the budding artists of the host school gave a mellifluous presentation of DAV Gaan. The program commenced with the sacred lamp lighting  followed by a heart touching Bhajan 'Om Japo' by the music team of DAV International School.

Dr. Neelam Kamra extended formal welcome to the gathering and remarked that Swami Dayanand Ji had human welfare as the sole motive behind the foundation of Arya Samaj and under his guidance, aryans too dedicated their entire life to humanity, eliminating the social evils from the society. She added that following the same divine footsteps, under the tutelage of President Arya Pradeshik  Pratinidhi Sabha, New Delhi, Arya Ratan Mr. Poonam Suri,  Arya Pradeshik  Pratinidhi Upsabha, Punjab also keeps working tirelessly for the benefit of manhood. She showed her gratitude towards the Principals who showed great zeal and enthusiasm in conducting the programmes of Arya Samaj in the previous year and expressed aspirations for the similar support in the current session.

Principal Dr. J P Shoor, while addressing the gathering, said that every year the DAV Instittutions of Punjab show great exuberance in conducting the Arya Samaj's programmes and this time also same high spirit is expected of them. He said that a blood donation camp will be organised on the 100^th anniversay of Jallianwala Bagh massacre to commemorate the martyrdom of the innocent Indians. Talking on serious problems like water crisis and environment pollution, he said that social awareness programmes should be organised to educate people about the catastrophic consequences of low ground water level and decreasing number of trees. He also said that its a time to create a disciplined and morally strong society for the coming generations and for this our great aryans are a good source of inspiration and guidance.

Principal Dr. J P Shoor, laid special emphasis on environment conservation through tree plantation and spreading the same message, the host school presented 3000 saplings to participating Principals and students. An Audio Visual Presentation of the vedic and social awareness programmes conducted by the host school was also shown to the gathering. During the seminar, a detailed discussion on yearly vedic and social welfare events was done with the DAV Principals. All confirmed their active participation for the same.

On this Grand Occasion, Principal Ajay Beri, Principal Pushpinder Walia, Principal Anita Menon, Principal Neeru Chadha, Principal Vinod Kumar, Principal Satwant Bhullar, Principal Seema, Principal Amardeep Gupta, Principal Sanjay Sharma, Principal Satwant Bhullar, Principal Neera Sharma, Principal J K Sidhu, Principal Paramjit Kumar and other principals of DAV institutions were also present. The programme ended with Shanti Path.
