BHARAT VIKAS PARISHAD HOLDS NATIONAL GROUP SONG COMPETITION

Bharat Vikas Parishad, Amritsar organized Inter School National Group Song Competition under the guidance of Prof. H.S. Walia, President BVP and Principal Dr. Anjana Gupta on the premises of DAV International School, Amritsar on Oct 16, 2019. Mr. O.P. Soni, Cabinet Minister Medical Education and Research Punjab Government was the Chief Guest of the day.
Principal of the host school, Dr. Anjana Gupta, Prof. H.S. Walia, President Bharat Vikas Parishad, Mr. R.D. Sharma Project Incharge and Secretary Mr. Krishan Kumar Sharma welcomed & honoured the Chief Guest Mr. O.P. Soni, Special Guest Mr. Vikas Soni, Principal Mr. Sumit Puri and Mr. Kiran Kumar Sharma.
Dr. Anjana Gupta, in her address said that Bhartiya Vikas Parishad is doing an amazing job. It in caters to the needs of the students and give them opportunities to exhibit their hidden talent.
In this competition DAV School, Hathi Gate, Amritsar outshined the other 13 participating schools by getting first position whereas DAV International School, Amritsar got second position and Holy Heart Presidency School, Amritsar got third position. In the Prize Distribution Ceremony, Chief Guest Mr. Sandeep Rishi (PCS) Additional Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, special guest Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Principal DAV College, Amritsar and State President Bhartiya Vikas Parishad, Mr. Shiv Gautam along with Prof. H.S. Walia, Mr. R.D. Sharma and Dr. Anjana Gupta, honoured the winning teams.
Chief Guests Mr. O.P. Soni and Mr. Sandeep Rishi in their respective presidential address applauded Bhartiya Vikas Parishad, Amritsar, for its tremendous work and appreciated its efforts in providing district platform to the students to hone their skills and talent. Principal Dr. Rajesh Sharma also praised BVP for its role in nation building.
On this occasion Mr. B.S. Sharma, Ms. Mati Ashma Walia, Mr. Kiran Kumar Sharma, Mr. V.K. Sen, Ms. Sunita Sharma, Ms. Vandana Arora, Mr. Rajendra Pal Sharma and Inayat Kapoor were especially present.
