DAV International School celebrated the 550^th Parkash Parv of Guru Nanak Dev Ji on its campus with great devotion. The occasion was marked by the recitation of Guruji’s rendition ‘Japuji Sahib’ followed by Shabad Kirtan by the students of the school alongwith the members of Gurudwara Sahib. Kiranpreet Kaur, a student of Class X, threw light on the life and teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. This was followed by recitation of Anand Sahib and then the Guru Ka Langar was served.

Chairman of the school Dr. V.P. Lakhanpal called upon the teachers to follow the words of Guru in the form of ‘Kirat Karo, Naam Japo, Ate, Vand Chako’.

Principal Dr. Anjana Gupta thanked all the guests for their devotional participation in the holy celebration and advised the students to follow the path of righteousness and truth as shown by the great Guru.

Regional Officer Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra, Manager Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Smt. Nirmal Gupta and other members of LMC S. Mohinderjit Singh, Dr. K.S. Manchanda, Sh. Inderpal Arya and S. Satnam Singh were also present on the occasion.
