A two-day Capacity Building Programme in the subject of Accountancy for the teachers teaching Classes XI & XII was organised on the premises of  DAV International School on November 16 &17, 2019 under the aegis of CBSE, New Delhi. The intellectual discourses in these two days were delivered by Resource Persons – Mr. Neeraj Mohan Puri, Principal, Modern Sandeepni School, Pathankot and Mr. Amit Mehra, PGT Accountancy, Springdale Senior School, Amritsar. As many as 30 teachers from different CBSE affiliated schools of Punjab were privileged ones to attend this programme.

After invoking divine benedictions by lighting the sacred lamps, the worthy resource persons were accorded a Green Welcome. Principal Dr. Anjana Gupta, in her welcome address to the present gathering, expressed her gratitude to CBSE for providing her school with the golden opportunity to host this prestigious workshop. She extended a hearty welcome to the respected resource persons and also motivated the participating teachers to get whole heartedly involved in the workshop to derive maximum benefit.

The resource persons dealt with various important aspects related to the subject of Accountancy, like-Difficult Areas, Developing Projects, Teaching and Learning of Accounts, Recent Developments in Accounts, Sample Question Paper, Common Errors and Suggestions, in a very fun-filled way.

The participants felt delighted and privileged to be a part of such an informative programme.
