Meeting of Arya Pradeshik Pratinidhi Upsabha, Punjab to celebrate The Birth Anniversary of Lala Lajpat Rai

Under the guidance of Arya Ratan Dr. Punam Suri Padam Shree Awardee & Pradhan, Arya Pradeshik Pratinidhi Sabha and President, DAV CMC, New Delhi a meeting was organized at DAV International School, Amritsar by Pradhan APP Upsabha, Punjab Dr. J.P. Shoor and Mantri Dr. Neelam Kamra. This meeting was attended by Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Pradhan Arya Samaj, Lohgarh, worthy members of different Arya Samaj of the city and Principal of various DAV Institutions. The host Principal Dr. Anjana Gupta accorded a floral welcome to the esteemed guests. The programme began with holy lamp lighting ceremony.
In her address Dr. Neelam Kamra glorified the teachings & services of Swami Dayanand Saraswati, the founder of Arya Samaj. She stated that APP Sabha, New Delhi and APP Upsabha, Punjab always try to follow the footsteps of this great saint for the sake of social betterment. She also expressed her gratitude to the present principals for carrying out Arya Samaj Related activities so sincerely in the past few years and hoped for the same in the coming years as well.
Pradhan Dr. J.P. Shoor remarked that under the direction of APP Sabha, New Delhi, APP Upsabha, Punjab is actively involved in social welfare activities like Blood Donation camp, Tree Plantation, save water etc. Also important days related to the worthy freedom fighter are also celebrated zealously. Lala Lajpat Rai is one such freedom fighter who considered Arya Samaj as his Godmother and Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati as his Godfather. He declared that this great personality’s birth anniversary will be celebrated in a great event on 25th January, 2020 at Lohgarh which will be attended by the respected Arya Samaj Members from all over Punjab. He also thanked all the Principals for always rendering their full support in all the endeavors of the Punjab Upsabha and expressed hope for the same in the coming times as well.
This meeting was also attended by Sh. Inderpal Arya. Sh. Rakesh Mehra, Sh. Hiral Kandhari, Sh. Sandeep, Sh. Mukesh Anand, principal Ajay Beri, Principal Neera Sharma, Principal Paramjeet Kumar, Principal Vipin, Principal Bhatti, Principal Simmi, Principal Neeru Sharma,, Principal Inder and Principals of various other DAV Colleges and schools.
